Summary
Maintains and controls plant machines and equipment of lift station facilities by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Controls and maintains electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate wastewater flow into the wastewater treatment plant system.
- Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment.
- Performs daily maintenance at all lift stations.
- Read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Write correspondence and daily/weekly reports.
- Carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Manage problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Performs related duties as assigned and required.
- Rotating on-call schedule.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Texas Class "C" Driver's License
- Must currently have or be able to obtain a ‘Collections II’ license within 2 years of employment
